The products present a serious chemical risk. The necklace contains 50.6% cadmium, which is 5060 times the maximum permissible limit. The earrings contain 33.5% cadmium (bows), and 80.8% cadmium (dragons) – 3350 and 8080 times the maximum permissible limit respectively. Cadmium is harmful to human health as it accumulates in the body, can damage organs and may cause cancer.
The product does not meet the requirements of the REACH Enforcement Regulations 2008.
