Recalls by shop

UK product recalls and allergy alerts by shop: Lidl, Aldi, Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, IKEA, Amazon, Temu and more.

Supermarkets and shops don’t publish their recalls in one place, so we’ve pulled them together. Every official recall and allergy alert from the Food Standards Agency, Food Standards Scotland, the Office for Product Safety and Standards and the MHRA is checked for the shops it names, and listed under each one below.

Taking a recalled product back

For food, the notice will nearly always tell you to return it to the store you bought it from for a full refund, and you don’t normally need a receipt. For other products, stop using it and follow the instructions on the notice. That might be a refund, a free repair, a replacement part or a collection.

If you bought from an online marketplace, contact the seller through your order history first. If you get nowhere, use the marketplace’s buyer protection, or ask your card provider about a chargeback.

Want to know as soon as something from your usual shop is recalled? Open the shop’s page and use the alert box to get a free email whenever a new notice names it.
