Hazard
The product presents a risk of fire, burns and electric shock as the cord set did not meet the requirements of the relevant standard BS EN 60799. There is a risk of an electric shock from touching the live contacts on the connector, and a risk of fire from the inadequate supply cord, which did not have adequate cross-sectional area.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
Import rejected at the border and the product has been destroyed. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon)
