Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of choking as the zip pull can detach from the product creating a small part. Small parts pose a choking hazard to young children, particularly those under 36 months of age who have a natural tendency to explore objects by placing them in their mouths. The product also includes a cord which exceeds the maximum permitted length and may present a strangulation hazard to young children. Improvements are also required to product marking and labelling.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.

Corrective action

The product has been seized from the distributor and is awaiting destruction.

Consumers are advised to stop using the product immediately and seek redress from their place of purchase.
