Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of injuries/cuts as it does not feature the BS EN 60335-2-14 interlock. The product can be turned on accidentally whilst cleaning, presenting an injuries hazard to the user. Due to the rotating parts, the product also presents an entrapment hazard as a body part, hair or a person’s clothing may become entangled in the rotating function.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
