Hazard

The product presents a high risk of fire as it features poor quality connections with wires soldered directly to the PCB with no secondary means of mechanical restraint in a high vibration/shock environment. There was also no thermal protection on the cells which could result in thermal runaway, causing the product to catch fire. Some of the required documentation and markings were not present.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon and eBay).
