Action taken by the company

Flames Foods is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also been advised to issue a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.

What you should do

If you have bought the above products and have an allergy to mustard, nuts (almond), sesame, soya, and/or an allergy or intolerance to egg, and/or an allergy and/or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, and/or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites, and/or allergy and/or intolerance to wheat (gluten) do not eat them. Instead return them to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

Flames Foods is recalling various types of frozen products because they contain various allergens that are not mentioned on the label or have not been emphasised correctly. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard, nuts (almond), sesame, soya, and/or an allergy or intolerance to egg, wheat (gluten), milk or milk constituents, and/or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.
