Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the plug supplied is not adequately earthed. If the product insulation breaks down during normal use, the metal parts accessible to the user could become live, causing the user to receive an electric shock. Improvements are also required to product marking and labelling.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
