Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock if the consumer were to follow the inadequate instructions/markings and install the product outside. The cable cord of the product is a parallel twin type cord with a single layer of PVC insulation. The cord is not suitable for outdoor use and using this product could cause the cord to deteriorate and give the consumer an electric shock.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon).
