Hazard

The product presents a high risk of choking as small parts (the wooden beads and hoops) can be easily produced if the rattle is used and sucked, as the string securing the beads can weaken. A young child may place the small part in their mouth and the parents/carers may not notice in time, with the small part able to block a child’s airways.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.

Corrective action

OPSS are requiring the recall of the product from end users. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (eBay).
