Hino 300 SERIES recall: Wiring harness may be damaged
- What's wrong
- It has been identified that the cab wiring harness can come in contact with a support bracket within the cab which can cause chaffing damage. This can result in either the engine cutting out and/or the wiper motor suddenly stopping.

- Contact a Hino dealer to book the free repair. Recall all affected vehicles to fit additional protection to the edge of support bracket and to inspection for damage to the wiring harness. If found damaged then repair as necessary…
What’s wrong
It has been identified that the cab wiring harness can come in contact with a support bracket within the cab which can cause chaffing damage. This can result in either the engine cutting out and/or the wiper motor suddenly stopping.
The fix
Recall all affected vehicles to fit additional protection to the edge of support bracket and to inspection for damage to the wiring harness. If found damaged then repair as necessary and fit an additional vinyl protection sleeve to the harness.
