Hazard

The ACG belt, which may be damaged due to a manufacturing defect, can entangle in the timing belt section, resulting in the engine coming to a stop.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Recreational Craft Regulations 2017.

Corrective action

The product has been recalled from end users.

Honda will contact all affected users registered in the database with further information and instructions to return the marine engine to their nearest Honda dealer.
