Hotronix Heat Presses

- Commercial heat press machines for use in printing on apparel. Affected products were supplied between February 2018 and December 2024.

- The product presents a risk of fire as it is possible for the electrical cabling and/or switches to overheat and become damaged.
- What to do
- Owners should stop using the product immediately and disconnect the heat press from the power supply.

Hazard
The product has been identified as presenting a risk of fire, as it is possible for the electrical cabling and/or switches to overheat and become damaged. The 3500W heating plate has a serial plate rating of 15 amps but has been supplied for use in the UK with a 13amp fused plug.
Corrective action
The manufacturer has initiated a modification programme.
Owners should stop using the product immediately and disconnect the heat press from the power supply.
Contact Stahls UK (Europe) Ltd to arrange for them to replace the power switch and circuit breakers.
