IsoFlo and Isothesia inhalation vapour liquid: Product defect alert
- The problem
- The VMD has issued a product defect alert for IsoFlo 100% w/w Inhalation Vapour Liquid and Isothesia 1000 mg/g Inhalation Vapour Liquid manufactured by Zoetis UK Limited.
- What to do
- Check the batch number on the pack. Stop using affected batches and return them to where you bought them, or ask your vet or pharmacist for advice.
The VMD wish to make wholesale dealers and veterinary surgeons aware that we have issued a class II recall of the veterinary anaesthetic products:
- IsoFlo 100% w/w Inhalation Vapour Liquid Vm 42058/4195
- Isothesia 1000 mg/g Inhalation Vapour Liquid Vm 42058/4197
Re-sealed bottles may not be airtight due to a defect with the metal cap thread.
Batches with an expiry date of 31 May 2021 or later are not affected by the recall.
