The product presents a serious risk of electric shock and fire as the conductor and cross-sectional area of the product’s wiring is insufficient which could cause the overheating of the wires and a fire under fault conditions. The product’s fuse and plug were also noncompliant.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
