Hazard
The product presents a high risk of fire as the plug fitted to the main supply cord is fitted with an unsafe fuse which does not meet the minimum requirements of BS 1362. If the consumer were to use this power supply, an electric fault could occur, and the fuse may explode. The product also requires improvements to documentation and markings.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border destroyed.
The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon).
