Hazard

The product presents a high risk of burns as the fuse in the plug does not have any granular filler and as such cannot function properly. If there was a sudden surge in current or otherwise any fault with the product the plug could catch fire, which could easily harm the consumer through debris or from touching the heated plug.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action
