Hazard
The product presents a high risk of choking as the beads on the product broke during tension testing, releasing small parts that were found to fit entirely inside of a small parts cylinder. If these small parts became accessible to a child and they were to put them in their mouth, this could result in them choking.
The product also presents a strangulation hazard to young children as the length of the soother holder was found to be 235 ± 1mm, which exceeds the maximum specified limit of 220mm.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
