What’s wrong
Some vehicles may have been manufactured with wiring harnesses that may short to ground with no circuit protection.
The fix
A harness kit will be fitted to add an in-line fuse for the un-switched power circuit together with chafing protection for the starter cable. The overall condition of the harness will also be inspected to ensure the ground circuits are properly connected.
