Porsche 718 and 911 CARRERA recall: Fuel may leak
Yes – some of these vehicles are being recalled
- What's wrong
- The high fuel pressure that builds up in the injection system when the engine is running can cause cracking and ultimately press the relevant fuel collection pipe off the injectors. This can cause a fuel leak in the engine compartment.
- What to do
- Contact a Porsche dealer to book the free repair. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the fastening screws for the fuel collection pipes with different screws.
