Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of choking as the teethers are small parts and fit into a small parts cylinder. If placed in a child’s mouth, it may become impacted in their airway and cause them to choke. The product also presents a risk of strangulation as the cords have a combined length in excess of the maximum permitted length. Some of the required documentation/markings are not present.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.

Corrective action

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
