Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of choking as the ears of the puppet can easily detach due to insufficient seam strength, providing access to internal fibrous fillings. A young child may put a small part in its mouth and the parents/carers may not notice in time, so the filling can block the child’s airways. The detached ear constitutes a small part which presents a choking hazard. The product also requires improvements to labelling and markings.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
