The product presents a serious chemical risk as the cadmium content is 8280 times the maximum limit and the lead content is over 15 times the maximum limit. Cadmium is harmful to human health as it accumulates in the body, can damage organs and may cause cancer. Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, can cause developmental neurotoxicity and may also affect breast-fed or unborn children.
The product does not meet the requirements of the REACH Enforcement Regulations 2008.
Corrective action
