The problem
The product presents a risk of fire as a defect in a component of the battery pack can cause the battery to enter into thermal runaway while in use.
What to do
The manufacturer has initiated a replacement programme for battery packs supplied with products manufactured before December 2024.

Hazard

The product presents a risk of fire as a defect in a component of the battery pack can cause the battery to enter into thermal runaway while in use.  

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
