What’s wrong
On affected vehicles due to a design error there is a risk that the e-Call automatic call back function may not work.
The fix
The software of the telematic unit for e-call will be updated via an Over the Air (OTA) wireless update. Should the (OTA) wireless update fail the telematic unit will be replaced.
