Hazard
The product presents a high risk of fire as there is insufficient creepage and clearance distance between the mains potential input circuits and low voltage output circuits of the plug. In the event of a surge in current or electrical fault, the plug could catch fire and explode. Improvements are also required to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
