Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of fire as the transformer is poorly constructed with insufficient insulation and fails to meet the minimum required creepage and clearance distances. Additionally, the product was fitted with a Euro-style plug which is not permitted for sale on the UK market. Improvements are also required to marking, labelling and documentation.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
