What’s wrong

Brake caliper assembly may be incomplete on the models referred to above due to deviations in manufacturing at our supplier. The anti-rattle plates and cotters may be missing. This may lead to problems on the brake caliper through to brake failure and therefore to serious consequential events

The fix

Check both brake calipers (front and rear) for completeness and in particular whether the anti-rattle plates cotters and pins are present and correctly mounted. If parts are missing then fully assemble with replacement parts in accordance with the repair manual.
