iROCKER are recalling iROCKER Blackfin Paddle Boards (Models V, X and XL) due to the use of substandard glue during a five month manufacturing period resulting in seam separation and deflation of affected units.

Serial numbers All numbers starting with IR-TSEBF, Numbers between IR139020 and IR141685, Numbers between IR157500 and IR160165, Numbers between IR160500 and IR163165.

Hazard

The product has been identified as presenting a risk of exposure to water / drowning as it substandard glue was used during a five-month manufacturing period, which can result in seam separation and deflation of affected units. If the seam separates when the product is in use, the user may fall into the water.

The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Corrective action

The product has been recalled from end users. All potentially affected consumers were notified on 27 July 2022 and offered replacement paddle boards. Further information can be found on the company’s recall page: https://www.recallrtr.com/blackfin.
