Over time, this will damage the socket and plug, which may cause the product to overheat and catch fire. The product also has an incorrectly rated fuse. A correctly rated fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the product under fault conditions. Improvements are also required to product labelling and marking.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
