Hazard

The product presents a risk of injuries to service personnel as there is potential for the front pivot bolts assembled onto the Vibrating Grizzly Feeder (VGF) mesh desk to become loose or completely detached. Loose or detached bolts may allow the mesh panel to slide from its normal operating position, leading to injuries for the service personnel.

Corrective action

A redesigned new pivot mesh deck fastener arrangement is being implemented as part of a TEREX campaign. Terex issued a Safety Notice for the Finlay branded machine J1170+ to their dealer network on 12th December 2024.
