What’s wrong

Under certain circumstances a dimensional error on the subject aftermarket front brake levers may cause the brake lever blade to contact the handlebar grip before maximum brake performance is achieved. This condition if present may lead to longer overall stopping distances in an emergency braking situation increasing the risk of a crash. (Note that operation of the brake lever in adjustment positions 3 4 5 and 6 will avoid the above described handlebar grip contact situation.)

The fix

Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and fit a dimensionally correct Front Brake Lever Kit assembly incorporating a visual identifier and is manufactured as a direct replacement for the defective part.
