- The engine pistons may not be according to specification leading to oil entry in the inlet circuit. In a worst case this may cause an increased engine rpm for a few seconds possibly resulting in a total engine failure.
- What to do
- Contact a Vauxhall dealer to book the free repair. Perform a test of the engine to establish if the pistons are to specification. Where necessary the engine will be replaced.
