- On certain vehicles there is a possibility that because of a production problem the propshaft securing bolts for the final drive on gearbox side were not tightened with the correct tightening torque.
- What to do
- Contact a VW dealer to book the free repair. On the affected vehicles the propshaft bolted connection is retightened with the correct tightening torque. If bolts are found to be loose all 4 securing bolts must be replaced.

The fix
On the affected vehicles the propshaft bolted connection is retightened with the correct tightening torque. If bolts are found to be loose all 4 securing bolts must be replaced.
