VW TRANSPORTER T7 recall: Rear lid gas strut

- What's wrong
- For affected vehicles applying excess pressure to open the rear lid to its end position may cause the upper ball socket to detach from the gas strut allowing the rear lid to fall without restraint as one gas strut alone cannot hold it open.
- What to do
- Contact a VW dealer to book the free repair. The gas struts of the rear lid will be checked and if necessary replaced.

What’s wrong
