- What's wrong
- For affected vehicles battery cells were fitted in the high-voltage battery that can demonstrate an increased self-discharge due to a production fault. In the event of heavy self-discharge the yellow indicator lamps may light up.
- What to do
- Contact a VW dealer to book the free repair. The affected battery modules must be checked and if necessary replaced. The vehicle may only be charged outdoors and up to maximum 80%.
