The fix

Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and carry out a TEMPORARY repair. Check if the Genuine Honda Top Box is securely installed on the Rear Carrier. The Top Box locking mechanism will be fixed in the closed position with a unique tie band to ensure that the Top Box cannot detach from the Rear Carrier. The tie band should also NOT be removed until the permanent repair has been carried out.
