Mercedes Benz Atego recall: Axle bracket may detach
- What's wrong
- The threaded connection of the axle stop bracket on the rear axle may not have been tightened to specification. As a result the threaded connection could work loose and allow the bracket to fall on the roadway which can increase the risk of a collision.
- What to do
- Contact a Mercedes Benz dealer to book the free repair. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the tightness of the threaded connection. If loose the threaded connection will be replaced and tightened to specification.
