What’s wrong
It is possible for the wiring harness in the main switch panel to chafe on a bracket cut-out which could result in a short to earth. If a short circuit occurs it could result in the loss of various electrical systems. In the worst case the engine could cut out.
The fix
Recall the 143 vehicles that are likely to be affected and tape the edges of the bracket cut-out with adhesive felt tape & secure wiring harness.
